The wash house (French: lavoir ) in Marines , a French commune in the Val-d'Oise department in the Île-de-France region , was built around 1840. The laundry , which is supplied from a well with water, is on the district Les Hautiers .

In the roofed wash house there is a large basin in the center, so that the laundresses could do their work in any weather.
