The wash house (French: lavoir ) in Jouy-la-Fontaine , a hamlet in the French commune of Jouy-le-Moutier in the Val-d'Oise department in the Île-de-France region , was built in the first half of the 19th century . The wash house is on Rue des Blanchards.

The wash house is closed on three sides so that the laundresses were protected in all weathers.
