Wasšukanni
Waššukanni (also Waschschukanni, Waššugganni, Waschschugganni ) was one of the two capitals of the Mitanni empire from the 15th to the 13th century BC. The city was located in the headwaters of the Chabur river in what is now Turkey or northern Syria , but the exact location is not known. Anton Moortgat suspected it to be in Tell Fecheriye , one kilometer south of today's Raʾs al-ʿAin .
