Washington Ridge is a ridge with three peaks up to 430 m in height in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . On the Edward VII Peninsula, it rises 2.5 km southeast of Mount Franklin in the southern group of the Rockefeller Mountains .
Participants of the American Byrd Antarctic Expedition (1920-1930) discovered the mountain ridge during a flyover on January 27, 1929. Expedition leader Richard Evelyn Byrd named him after his niece Helen A. Washington.
