James Michael Vincent (born September 27, 1989 in Glossop ) is an English football player who plays for Inverness Caledonian Thistle .

Career

James Vincent began his career with Stockport County when he was eight . In the back series of the 2007/08 season he made his professional debut in the fourth division in England against Brentford FC . In November 2008, he scored his first goal in his young career against Yeovil Town in the FA Cup . With the Hatters he rose to League One at the end of the 2007/08 season . After the club went into bankruptcy in the 2008/09 season , relegation followed a year later as bottom of the table. In June 2011 he left the still financially troubled club and moved to the Kidderminster Harriers in the National League . After two years, 23-year-old Vincent moved to Inverness Caledonian Thistle in Scotland . For the Caley Jags he scored the goal in a 2-1 win in the Scottish Cup final of 2015 against FC Falkirk . A year earlier he lost with the club from the Highlands the final in the league cup against FC Aberdeen . During the summer break of 2016, he moved to Dundee FC .
