Kevin McHattie (born July 15, 1993 in Glenrothes ) is a Scottish football player who is under contract with Inverness Caledonian Thistle .
Career
society
Kevin McHattie was born in the Scottish town of Glenrothes in July 1993 . He began his football career at Dunfermline Athletic before moving to Heart of Midlothian in the Scottish capital at the age of 17 . McHattie played for the club for a year as a youth before he made his professional debut against FC Aberdeen on Matchday 4 of the 2011/12 season when he was substituted on for Ryan Stevenson . By December 2011, he was no further use in the team of Paulo Sérgio he so until the end of the season to Alloa Athletic was awarded to the 4th league. In Alloa he won the championship and the associated promotion to the third Scottish division. After his return to the Hearts, he was used more often. In 2013 he reached the final of the Scottish League Cup with Hearts, which was lost to FC St. Mirren . After the club got into major financial difficulties in the 2013/14 season by the owner of the Roman Romanov club and had to file for bankruptcy, the club received a deduction of 15 points. As bottom of the table, the club rose to the 2nd division. McHattie succeeded in direct recovery with the team, but then moved to FC Kilmarnock . A year later, the full-back was transferred to the Raith Rovers in the second division. In the first season he got off with his new team after losing relegation.
National team
Kevin McHattie made his debut in the Scottish U-17 against Cyprus in October 2009 in a qualifier for the European Championship of this age group. Three years later, McHattie played for the U-21 against Canada for the first time .
