Roman Wladimirowitsch Romanow ( Lithuanian Romanas Romanovas , Russian Роман Владимирович Романов ) is a Russian-Lithuanian manager .

Life

Roman Romanov is the son of Lithuanian-Russian billionaire Vladimir Romanov . He studied in Lithuania, Russia and the USA ( college ) and graduated from the University of International Relations in Moscow . He has both Russian and Lithuanian citizenship.

Since October 31, 2005 he has been president of the Scottish football club Heart of Midlothian , as his father does not speak English, although he is actively and intensively responsible for the management of the club.

Roman Romanow sits on boards of directors or supervisory boards of subsidiaries of the Lithuanian group Ūkio banko investicinė grupė (Ūkio bankas investment group, ŪBIG). This also included Ūkio bankas , which went bankrupt in 2013. As a result, the Heart of Midlothian association also got into major financial difficulties.
