The Georgian-East Timorese relations describe the interstate relationship between Georgia and East Timor .

history

Georgia and East Timor established diplomatic relations on December 22, 2011.

In 2015, Sofia Borges , Permanent Representative of East Timor to the United Nations , visited the demarcation line to South Ossetia near the village of Khurvaleti ( Gori municipality ) as part of a UN delegation .

Georgia has had observer status with the Community of Portuguese- Speaking Countries (CPLP), of which East Timor is a member , since 2014 . During a conference of the heads of state of the CPLP, Georgia's Deputy Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani also met Hernâni Coelho , East Timor's Foreign Minister in Brasília .

Georgia has neither an embassy in East Timor, nor East Timor a diplomatic representation in Georgia. The Georgian ambassador to Jakarta , Indonesia, is also accredited for East Timor.

For 2018, the East Timor’s Statistical Office does not indicate any trade relations between East Timor and Georgia.

Entry requirements

East Timorese can enter Georgia with an online visa. Georgians need a visa when entering East Timor.
