The Scottish U-17 national football team is a selection team of Scottish football players . It is subject to the Scottish Football Association and represents it internationally at the U-17 level , for example in friendly matches against the national teams of other national associations, at the U-17 European and U-17 World Championships .
The team became vice world champions as hosts in 1989 . In terms of sport, the Scots have not yet qualified for a World Cup. At the European Championships in 2014 she reached the semi-finals.
