1995 European Under-16 Football Championship

The 13th U-16 European Football Championship was held in Belgium from April 24 to May 6, 1995 . It was the first UEFA youth tournament in Belgium. The winner was Portugal by a 2: 0 victory over Spain . Germany finished third with a 2-1 win over France . Defending champion Turkey was eliminated after the preliminary round.

The 16 qualified teams were divided into four groups of four teams each. Within the groups, each team played each other once. The group winners and runners-up reached the quarter-finals. From there on, the knockout system continued.
