U-21 European Football Championship 2015 / Qualification

On the qualification for UEFA European Under-21 Championship in 2015 , all 53 member organizations of Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) .

The final round was awarded to the Czech Republic , whose team was automatically qualified for the round of the last eight teams. All other 52 teams had to qualify in the preliminary round.

The 52 national teams were drawn in ten groups - eight groups of five and two groups of six teams. The national selections had to play their encounters with two legs. The group matches were played from March 22, 2013.

The respective group winners and the four best runners-up were qualified for the play-offs for entry into the play-offs. These then determined seven participants in the final round in the first and second leg.

All teams were divided into five pots, with pots A, B, C and D each comprising ten teams, while in pot E twelve teams were divided. The coefficients of the participants were decisive for the pot division, with those in pot A having the highest and those in pot E the lowest. Ten groups were formed from this.
