The Estádio Municipal da Marinha Grande is a football stadium with an athletics facility in the Portuguese city of Marinha Grande , Leiria district . The municipal facility was opened in 1992 and has 6,000 seats.
The stadium is home to third division AC Marinhense . In July 2011, União Leiria signed a three-year license agreement with the owner, the Câmara Municipal of Marinha Grande, to play his home games there. After the club's relegation, the agreement was dissolved after a season. União Leiria was already using the venue in the 2002/03 season when the Estádio Dr. Magalhães Pessoa was rebuilt for the 2004 European Football Championship .
