Nauen water tower
The Water Tower is a Grade II listed building in Nauen , a town in the district Havelland the country Brandenburg .
The 40-meter-high tower was built in 1898 and served the city as a water supply. In 1978 electric pumps replaced its function and the tower stood empty. In 2002 a private investor bought the building for 58,000 euros and renovated it in 2004 and 2005. Two residential units with a usable area of 368 m² were built in the head, which can be reached via an elevator and a spiral staircase.
The property was named Monument of the Month in 2007 .
