The Watering Cove (from English watering , irrigation, water transfer ) is a small side bay of the Stromness Harbor of South Georgia in the South Atlantic . It is located between the former Stromness whaling station and Harbor Point .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2013. It is named after the fact that in earlier times whalers had supplied themselves with fresh water in this bay.
