The Stromness Harbor (also Stromness Harbor ) is the mean of three side bays on the west side of Stromness Bay on the north coast of South Georgia .
In early maps and reports, the bay was named Rosita Cove , Fridtjof-Nansen-Hafen and Nansen Harbor, among others . The name that is valid today has been established since at least 1920.
