The Watson Bluff is a 225 m high cliff of dark rock at the eastern end of David Iceland off the coast of the East Antarctic Queen Marie-country .
It was discovered by participants in the Australasian Antarctic Expedition (1911–1914) led by the Australian polar explorer Douglas Mawson . Mawson named it after Andrew Dougal Watson (1885–1963), a geologist on the expedition.
