The company emerged from the predecessor company Rheinisch-Westfälischen-Kreditgarantiebank (RKB). The RKB was founded in Dortmund in 1964 . In 1996 it stopped lending and transferred the claims to the subsidiary Lega Kreditverwaltungs GmbH . history

The Webac Gesellschaft für Maschinenbau mbH was on 27 June 1962 as a subsidiary (and independent engineering company ) of the Scandinavian company Westin & Backlund in Euskirchen founded. In 1993 Webac took over the Michel company, which is active in the field of core sand processing and fumigation technology. KGT, which is active in the field of sand regeneration, was taken over in 1995.

On January 1, 2005 there was a restructuring. The Webac Gesellschaft für Maschinenbau mbH was split up into a real estate company and an operating company. The movable assets and debts were sold to Webac Technologie GmbH, the property and building continued to be owned by Webac Gesellschaft für Maschinenbau mbH. After the implementation, the old Webac Gesellschaft für Maschinenbau mbH (WM1) was renamed Webac Gamma Immobilien Gesellschaft mbH and the new Webac Technologie GmbH was renamed Webac Gesellschaft für Maschinenbau mbH (WM2).

Products

The company's product range includes machines for molding sand and core sand processing as well as machines for sand regeneration (used sand that has already been used is made usable again), continuous mixers and sand coating systems with which frac sand can also be produced. In addition, Webac manufactures laboratory mixers that are used to find an optimal sand mixture.

In addition to GUT GmbH, Freudenberg and Förder- und Anlagentechnik (FAT) GmbH, Niederfischbach, Webac GmbH is a recognized company that provides sand regeneration systems.
