The Wedge Tomb of Killakee ( Irish Tuama Dingeach Choill an Chaoich ) is located on the eastern slope of Montpelier Hill, above Dublin Bay , west of the R115 (road) in the small forest "Macey Wood Down" in County Dublin in Ireland . Wedge Tombs ( German  "Keilgräber" ), formerly also called "wedge-shaped gallery grave", are aisle-free, mostly undivided megalithic complexes from the late Neolithic and early Bronze Age .

The wedge tomb is about 5 m long and its single-walled chamber still has many wall stones in situ . The capstones and the cairn , however, have disappeared. An L-shape at the west end could be the remains of a forecourt, which is rare in megalithic systems of this type.
