Wee Chow Hou

Wee Chow Hou (born January 2, 1951 in Singapore ) is a Singaporean economist .

Life

Wee Chow Hou studied at the National University of Singapore (Bachelor, 1973) and at the University of Western Ontario (Bachelor, 1974). This was followed by an MBA (1976) and a Ph.D. (1984).

He then became Professor of Economic Policy and Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration at Singapore National University. He is Professor of Strategy and Marketing at Nanyang Technological University and Fellow at the Institute on Asian Consumer Insight (ACI). From 2005 to 2009 he headed the department for strategy, management and organization. He is also an honorary professor at Xiamen University in China and Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman in Malaysia. He has advised Fortune Global 500 companies and has written over 300 specialist articles and authored 3 books.
