Weenect (Hareau SAS) is a French company that makes GPS trackers for dogs, cats, children and seniors.

Companies

Weenect was founded in 2012 by Adrien Harmel, Bénédicte de Villemeur-Vieille and Ferdinand Rousseau and develops GPS trackers for children, seniors, dogs and cats.

Weenect GPS trackers are equipped with a SIM card, which enables GPS coordinates to be transmitted in real time and without distance restrictions throughout Europe. The devices use GPS signals to calculate their position and transmit the resulting GPS positions via the Internet ( GPRS ) to Weenect's mobile app for smartphones (Weenect - GPS) and the company's own web application (My Weenect). The data can then be accessed by the user in both places.

financing

The company received one million euros from the investment funds of Montblanc and Noseda Capital in 2015 . Weenect is also supported by Bpifrance as part of the innovation program.
