Weetabix
Weetabix , the British company Weetabix Limited (founded in 1932), a whole-grain wheat - biscuit , in milk or juice typically soaked in a bowl for breakfast is eaten. Although Weetabix has been a classic part of the English breakfast for around 60 years , it is hardly known in Germany .
Other manufacturers in the United States , South Africa , Australia, and New Zealand offer similar products to Weet-Bix .

According to the manufacturer, whole grain wheat is cooked, crushed into flakes and ground.
According to the packaging, Weetabix Original contains 95% whole grain wheat, barley malt extract , sugar, salt, niacin , iron sulfate, thiamine (B1) , riboflavin (B2) and folic acid .
Further products with additives were derived from Weetabix, for example mini Weetabix banana .
Manufacturer
Weetabix Ltd. From 2012, it was majority owned by the state-owned Chinese food company Bright Food . In 2017 Weetabix was sold to the US group Post Holdings .
