White chant is a specific type of chant also called "scream chant ". White singing is a method of using screaming to create a melody . With the help of the diaphragm , the air is slowly pressed out through the maximally open larynx . The singers also use various resonance spaces in the body to generate sounds, such as parts of the larynx, the skull bones and air cavities in the skull and larynx area. White singing is typical of folk music in many countries, for example Poland , Ukraine , Belarus and Bulgaria .
