In the Wehrmacht , the white skirt was a uniform jacket that officers and Wehrmacht officials were allowed to wear with officer rank. It was only allowed to be worn

It could be worn (only in the summer months)

  • to the dress uniform ,
  • at tournaments, races and sporting events,
  • for a small company suit the officer home or in smaller enterprises of the family or acquaintance, and at garden parties.
