The white stuff describes a certain part of the military clothing ( uniform ) It is worn by the guard battalion at the Federal Ministry of Defense and the staff music corps of the Bundeswehr for protocol reasons. Until 2004 it was also used in a modified form in the military police force in combination with the field and service suit .

composition

It consists of a white belt with a belt buckle and a belt (see Sam Browne belt ) that runs over the right shoulder. The guard battalion comes with a white pistol pouch for the Walther P1 , which is carried on the left side, following the tradition of the saber, and a white hand-closing pouch.

Feldjäger also wore a white rubber club on the right side and a white armband with the inscription Feldjäger on the left arm. The term white stuff refers to the fact that these pieces of equipment are colored white .

Wear occasions

The white clothing is only worn in the protocol service by the staff music corps and the guard battalion, by escort drivers or as a service suit in conjunction with a white peaked cap .

In the military police service, the field suit with the so-called black stuff (consisting of a black pistol holster for the HK P8 , black hand pocket, black double magazine pouch, RMS holder and black MP / military police armband) is mainly worn.
