Wei Yan (badminton)
Wei Yan ( Chinese 韋 焰 , Pinyin Wéi Yа̀n ; born January 28, 1962 ) is a Taiwanese badminton player .
Career
Wei Yan won the New Zealand Open in men's singles in 1991. In the same year he finished second at the French Open. At the Badminton World Championships in 1991, however, it was only enough to place 65. In 1991 he also won the Welsh International.
