Weidmannsrast is an old English oak in the Byttnahain southeast of Straupitz .

Like the other old oaks in the grove, it belonged to an old Hudewald . Weidmannsrast is a natural monument and is located on a hiking trail. Right next to her is the Christoph Heinrich oak . According to a sign erected on site, Weidmannsrast has a height of 27 meters and a circumference of 6.20 meters. Another source gives a circumference of 6.10 meters for 2004.

In the crown of the centuries-old oak, large parts have already died.
