Weiner mill

The Weiner Mühle is located near the village of Weine in the urban area of Büren in the Paderborn district , North Rhine-Westphalia . The mill is located on the Alme river .

history

The mill was first mentioned in a document in 1276. In 1861 the first building of today's existing mill was built. The building has been expanded over the years. In 1911 the old millstone was replaced by modern mill rollers. In 1921 the mill wheel was replaced by a turbine . Up until 1552, the mill had its own company horses who picked up the grist and delivered the ground grain . The mill has since been stopped.
