Champagne cooler

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Champagne cooler

A champagne cooler ( wine cooler ), also called a champagne bucket ( wine bucket ) or bottle cooler , is a vessel for cooling champagne or wine . The vessel is filled with ice or contains an additional reservoir for water. This allows you to slowly cool the sparkling wine and the typical tingling remains. You can also use the champagne cooler for frying by filling it with alternating layers of ice and salt in order to cool the champagne to a temperature of 5 to 8 ° C within 20 minutes.
