The Kinz wine tavern is a former inn and today's residential and commercial building in Kirchstrasse 9 in Bregenz . The building is under monument protection ( list entry ).

history

The building in its current appearance goes back to a renovation by Stefan Wachter in 1897.

architecture

The building has three facade fronts. In the direction of Leutbühel , the facade has a high, curved gable. The facade of the ground floor is grooved , while the facade of the upper floors is structured by pilaster strips with late historical and baroque decor. On the gable side is a large wall fresco depicting “Apollo in the sun chariot”. It was made by Josef Huber-Feldkirch in 1897. There is stucco decoration in the spandrels.

The interior decoration was created by Josef Gaudl in 1904.
