The Weiss Point ( English ; Polish Przylądek Weissa ) is a headland of King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located west of Flagstaff Hill on the west side of the Keller Peninsula and protrudes into Mackellar Inlet .
Polish scientists named it in 1980. It is named after the seismologist Jozef Weiss, participant in a Polish Antarctic expedition that ran from 1979 to 1980.
