The Wells Fargo Plaza is a skyscraper in the Texas city ​​of El Paso . It was designed by the architectural firm Charles Luckman and Associates, completed in 1971 under the name First National Bank Plaza, and established on October 25 of the same year. The tower was later renamed State National Plaza. It is 90 meters (296 ft ) tall and has 21 floors, making it the tallest building in the city and its neighboring city, Ciudad Juárez . It mixes elements of brutalism and classic, international style . The building also has a 9-story parking garage with 450 parking spaces.

At night the building is illuminated by 13 horizontal strips. Depending on the occasion, either a US flag or a Christmas motif is displayed. It also shows the abbreviation "UTEP" from the University of Texas at El Paso on sporting occasions .

The main tenant is Bank Wells Fargo , which is also the current namesake of the building. There is also a lettering on the roof with the bank's logo. It is used exclusively for office purposes.
