Weltanschauung party
Weltanschauungspartei is a term coined by Max Weber in party research. It is one of those terms that are used to characterize parties based on their objectives, in this case the orientation towards or enforcement of a certain worldview. Today's German parties in the middle and their predecessors can also be characterized as ideological parties in their beginnings in the German Empire or in the Weimar Republic .
