Michael Wenczel (born November 23, 1977 in Heilbronn ) is a former German soccer player . He has both German and Hungarian citizenship. His greatest sporting success was promotion to the Bundesliga with Eintracht Frankfurt in the 2002/03 season. Wenczel was under contract with second division club FC Ingolstadt until the beginning of 2011 , but had not played a league game for the first team since October 2009. He ended his professional career as a sports disabled person during the 2010/11 winter break.
