Wennemar Heket (* in the 14th century; † in the 15th century) was a canon in Münster .

Life

Wennemar Heket came from a knightly family from Essen and was the son of the squire of the same name Wennemar Heket and his wife Walburgis. On October 9, 1413, the antipope, Johannes XXIII , ordered that the Münster cathedral canonical, which had become free due to the death of Canon Wernerus de Went, should be brought into Wennemar's possession with annual income of 12 marks. Together with his parents he stayed at the Council of Constance on June 5, 1416 . Because of his refusal to approve the chapter statute on the allocation of prebends, his benefices were declared forfeit on February 6, 1432. The sources do not provide any information about his further life.
