Wennemar von Silvolde

Wennemar von Silvolde (* in the 12th century; † 1233 ) was cathedral scholaster and canon in Münster .

Life

Wennemar von Silvolde came from a family that belonged to the noble lords of Lohn and was named after the village of Silvolde (Achterhook / NL) . In 1193 he was first mentioned in a document as a cathedral canon. In 1223 he was a cathedral scholar . In this function he was responsible for the management of the cathedral school . Wennemar remained in these offices until his death.
