Wereldhave NV is a Dutch public limited company that invests primarily in commercial real estate , such as shopping centers and office buildings.

In addition to the Netherlands and Belgium, they invested in France, Great Britain, Spain, Finland and the United States, mostly in shopping malls, in France (Paris) and Spain (Madrid) in office buildings, and in the United States (e.g. Washington DC, Texas , San Diego) in office buildings and residential residences. In 2011 the geographical breakdown of the investment was around 20% in the Netherlands, around 24% in the USA, around 16% in Finland, around 14% in Belgium, 14.6% in Great Britain, 6.7% in France and 4.7% % in Spain. history

The company was founded in 1930 and initially developed residential properties in the Rotterdam area , but expanded to other parts of the Netherlands from the 1960s. The first foreign investment followed in France in 1975, followed by Belgium in 1976, the Federal Republic of Germany in 1977, Great Britain in 1978 and the USA likewise in 1978. In 1988 they took over Peachey propertory Corporation Plc. in the UK and invested in Spain for the first time. In Germany, the company withdrew in the 1990s. In 2002 they acquired the Itäkeskus shopping centers in Finland.

In 2013 the company moved its headquarters from The Hague to Amsterdam, to Schiphol Airport .
