The work was a measure of salt in the Halle salt pans . It took about 10 to 12 days to make one movement, and the yield from one pan was about 2 loads and 730 pounds of table salt (a 30 quintals load at 108 pounds , or 3,240 pounds). About 20 pounds of so-called post-salt (cattle salt) was also produced.

  • 1 plant = 2 baskets (freshly boiled salt)

The woven basket should contain 2 parts.
