Werner Günther (born November 29, 1959 ) is a former German soccer player . He played for SV Arminia Hannover from 1978 to 1980 .
Career
For the 1978/79 season Werner Günther went to Arminia Hannover. It was used for the first time on April 20, 1979. On his debut away against Rot-Weiß Lüdenscheid , he also picked up a yellow card. His penultimate league game at Arminia was the historic 11-0 defeat at Arminia Bielefeld . In addition, he was still in the starting eleven on August 30, 1980 in the DFB Cup victory over SpVgg Erkenschwick . Nothing is known about his whereabouts.
