Werner Humpert
Werner Humpert (* 1949 or 1950) is a German sports presenter.
Born in Dortmund, Humpert studied politics and history at the University of Münster . During this time he was already working as a freelancer for various newspapers. From 1979 he was an integral part of the sports department of ZDF , mainly responsible for basketball and motorsport. He reported on numerous football world championships and the Olympic Games, commented on the European basketball championship in 1993 in 3sat, and in particular provides background reports or is responsible for reports.
