The Brzi put 10 is a planned expressway in Serbia . After completion, it will lead from the capital Belgrade to the Romanian border near Vatin . Referring to the European road number , the route is also referred to as E 70 by the Serbian authorities . It is also known as the Autoput Pančevo – Vršac .
meaning
With the realization of the expressway Serbia would make a great proportion of the traffic of the Pan-European Transport Corridor IV record of the biggest competitor of the Pan-European Transport Corridor X is. At the same time, the motorway will be a connection between these two corridors and, according to a plan by the Romanian government, will be a section of the motorway from Belgrade to Timișoara .
Planning progress
The future motorway should run parallel to the existing trunk road and end at the Romanian border. With a daily traffic volume of 5,000 to 7,000 vehicles, the current road represents an important connection between the Serbian capital Belgrade and Romania. In December 2009, construction costs of 334 million euros were mentioned. In the opinion of the Serbian Infrastructure Minister Milutin Mrkonjić , the construction of the section has the same importance as the expansion of the Pan-European Transport Corridor X through Serbia. In the meantime (October 2013) the construction of this 92 kilometer long motorway is estimated to amount to 570 million euros. The preparation of the project documents has started. In order to accelerate the planning phase, the Serbian government is working with the local authorities in the cities and towns along the route. The 31-kilometer section from the Bubanj Potok motorway junction near Belgrade to the Pančevo junction will be realized as sector C of the Belgrade ring road .
