Werner Krammer

Werner Krammer (born November 8, 1968 ) is an Austrian teacher and politician ( ÖVP ) and since November 2014 mayor of the Lower Austrian statutory town of Waidhofen an der Ybbs .

Career

Krammer attended the Bundesrealgymnasium Amstetten and graduated in 1986, then he did military service in Amstetten in 1987 .

From 1987 to 1993 he studied physics at the University of Vienna and began teaching in 1989 as a teacher at the Waidhofen Music School. From 1998 until the end of his activity at the music school in 2009, he was also its deputy director.

He has been a physics teacher at the Bundesrealgymnasium Waidhofen an der Ybbs since 1996, and from 2004 to 2012 he was also employed in a training center in Waidhofen an der Ybbs , supervising a technical college course.

He has been a member of the Waidhofner Municipal Council since 2002, first as City Councilor for Culture, Sports and Tourism, and since 2009 as City Councilor for Finance and Culture. On November 14, 2014, he was sworn in as mayor of Waidhofen an der Ybbs.

Private

Krammer is married and has five children.
