Werner Krenn

Werner Krenn (born September 21, 1943 in Vienna ) is an Austrian opera singer (tenor) and actor .

Live and act

As a child, Krenn was a member of the Vienna Boys' Choir , with whom he made several tours in Europe and North America. He received his training at the music academy in his hometown from Elisabeth Rado , where he studied piano, violin, bassoon and composition. The Viennese then trained as a lyric tenor. Krenn made his debut in Salzburg, followed by guest engagements at home and abroad. In 1971 the artist was committed to the Vienna State Opera . In the years at the height of his career (1966 to 1975) Werner Krenn was also a popular singing guest at festive events or entertainment programs such as Die Drehscheibe on ZDF. He was also seen in one or the other television adaptation of popular operas and operettas.
