The Westfriedhof of the Bavarian capital Munich is located in the south of the Moosach district . The main entrance is at Baldurstrasse 28. It was laid out in 1898, and in 1902 the cemetery buildings by the architect Hans Grässel were completed. The Westfriedhof has around 40,000 grave sites. On the main avenue are the grave monuments, some of which were created by the Munich sculptor Heinrich Waderé .
