The Westminster International University in Tashkent , shortly WIUT , ( Russian Международный Вестминстерский Университет в Ташкенте ; Uzbek Toshkent Xalqaro Vestminster Universiteti ; English Westminster International University in Tashkent ) is an English-language university in the Uzbek city of Tashkent . It was founded in 2002 in collaboration with the University of Westminster in London and the Uzbek government and has been offering higher education according to Western standards ever since. The courses on offer include, for example, computer science , business administration and law . Today it is one of the most prestigious universities in the country and has numerous partnerships with companies.
