Wetteborn (desert)
Wetteborn is a desert in the Harz district in Saxony-Anhalt . It is north of Danstedt and west of Athenstedt .
On August 1, 1004, Wetteborn was first mentioned as Witeburnun in a deed of gift from King Heinrich II to Drübeck Abbey. The name Wetteborner Zoll later recalled the former desert .
