The Whaleback Rocks (of English whale back , Walrücken ' ) are a group of low cliffs off the north coast of Trinity Peninsula in the north of the Antarctic Peninsula . They are located 3 km west of Blake Island in Bone Bay .
Scientists from the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey mapped them in 1948 and gave them their descriptive names.
