Band history

White Apple Tree consists of the band founder Ryan Lawhon, his brother Taylor Lawhon and drummer Stefan Mac. According to their own statements, their music is influenced by Enya and The Knife .

In April 2010, was titled Mustache Velvet , the debut album of the band. An EP followed in October 2010. In the German-speaking world, the musicians became known through the comedy film Kokowääh . The title Snowflakes , included on the soundtrack , which was already released as a single in 2008, hit the charts of German-speaking countries in February / March 2011 and brought the band their only chart listing worldwide.
