White River Entrance

The White River Entrance (also known as the White River Entrance Historic District ) is a historic three-building complex and an entrance area of Mount Rainier National Park in Washington state . The portal is located directly east of the White River and west of Washington State Route 410. The area in which the historic White River Mess Hall and Dormitory, White River Patrol Cabin and White River Bridge are located covers approximately 20 hectares.

The design of the architecture is rustic. The foundations of the buildings are made of stone, the walls are covered with a wooden facade and the roof is laid with shingles .

According to the National Register of Historic Places , this historic district was of particular significance from 1900 to 1924 and was listed on March 13, 1991 on the National Register of Historic Places with the number 91000177.
