Whitworth Ridge is a rocky ridge in Mac Robertson Land, East Antarctica . In the Porthos Range of the Prince Charles Mountains, it rises 3 km northeast of Mount Leckie .
Aerial photographs of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions from 1956 were used for mapping purposes. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it after the geophysicist Roy Whitworth (* 1930), who worked at Wilkes Station in 1963 .
