The Porthos Range is a 50 km long mountain range in the east Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . It extends east-west between the Scylla Glacier and the Charybdis Glacier in the Prince Charles Mountains .
Scientists from the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions , led by Australian mountaineer William Gordon Bewsher (1924–2012), visited them in December 1956. Bewsher named them after one of the three main characters from Alexandre Dumas ' novel The Three Musketeers .
